The High Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Act (HEEHRA) is the official name of the Inflation Reduction Act\u2019s heat pump incentive program. The HEEHRA will offer point-of-sale rebates on a heat pump up to $8,000 depending on your household income. There will be no need to send in any documentation for a rebate refund or tax credit. State governments will implement the rebates as soon as The Department of Energy issues state guidelines by spring of 2023. <\/p>\n

Low-income households will qualify for a 100% rebate up to $8,000. Middle income households are eligible for a 50% rebate up to $8,000. High income homes are eligible for a 30% tax credit up to $2,000.<\/p>\n
